I can’t believe Noah is 11 months old. I love my

I can’t believe Noah is 11 months old. I love my boy more than I could ever express. I’m so grateful God gave me him even when I didn’t think I was ready. He is my whole 🌎 and I can’t imagine life without him. Only one more month of the “baby” months and I am soaking it up! 💙

My little workspace this afternoon while baby naps

My little workspace this afternoon while baby naps 👶🏼 😴 If you’re thinking this doesn’t look like the kitchen I’m usually filming in, that’s because we bought a house! We just moved in on the first of the month. It’s a long story why we bought a house in this crazy housing market but maybe one day I’ll share it 😊 But what I will share now is God is so kind to us. Even though we don’t deserve a single blessing He has blessed us immensely with this new house, which fun fact: is right next door to my best friend! Can you believe it 🤯 Praise God! This house has everything and more that Luke and I could have wanted and we are so grateful. It’s been a lot of work getting to this point but God has guided us every step of the way and even when it felt scary and out of our control, we could trust Him. I know I don’t deserve any of it, but I’m so grateful God works for our good because we love Him and He loves us far better than we could ever understand.

We had the BEST day yesterday on our family hike 😊 I honestly had no idea how Noah would do; we had to drive 3 hours roundtrip and the hike took about 3.5 hours total so I was fully expecting for Noah to full blown lose it at some point. But he was SO happy the entire time and even took a little catnap in the backpack on the way down the mountain. It was the least fussy day he has ever had and I’m so thankful we just decided to go for it because it ended up being the best family day ever 😁

Wow I love this boy so much. Both Luke and I agree that this has been our favorite stage with Noah. He is happy 95% of the time and is such a little bruiser, constantly getting into things and tumbling over only to roll and keep going 😂🥰 He finalllllly started crawling this month, completely skipping the army crawl and straight to crawling on all fours allllll over the place. He loves to stand and slap his hands on windows or the coffee table. He is happiest when outside and loves going in his little pool. He loves food and is a good little eater, often eating the same thing for dinner as me and Luke. He loves to clap and give kisses. He melts my heart and brings me so much joy everyday. I’m so thankful for my little man 🥰💙

August has been a lot, there’s no better way to

August has been a lot, there’s no better way to say it 😅 There’s so much going on in the world that has been occupying my mind and weighing heavy on my heart, and some big changes in our personal life that are exciting but require a lot of time and physical work. On top of that we’ve had family from both sides visiting and I was sick for over a week. I find myself feeling overwhelmed and tired often, yet at night my mind won’t turn off and let me rest.

In these times when life feels like more than I can handle alone, I’m so grateful I have God to lean on. I’ve been trying to unplug a little more, pray a lot more, give what I can’t control to God, and pray for guidance on how He can use me in the situations that are heartbreaking and so much bigger than myself. And most importantly, no matter how chaotic things feel, I can find rest in knowing that God is in control and I do not need to fear. I hope that is encouraging if any of you needed to be reminded of that as well 💗 Have a great weekend everyone!

This has been a fun month with Noah! He now waves, says mama, and said dada this morning for the first time 🥰 He’s constantly on the go and loves to explore now that he doesn’t have to stay stationary anymore. He’s not crawling though, he scoots and rolls 😂 He is going through separation anxiety which is so normal for this age but makes it hard to leave the room 😅 He loves going “swimming” in Grandma’s pool and at the lake even though the water is cold. He is a water baby for sure! He has discovered how to screech at the highest pitch he can reach when he is unhappy or frustrated so that’s been a fun time 🤪😂 But it doesn’t change my love for him one bit. I’m so grateful I get to wake up to my sweet boy every morning and spend each day with him. Luke and I love him so so much! ❤️

My heart is so thankful ❤️ We have family in town for the next 2 weeks and I got to meet my adorable niece last night! What a blessing it is for all 3 sisters (me, my sister, and my sister in law) to all have babies so close in age. It’s been a fun and wild ride to experience alongside them 🥰💗💙👶🏼😊😭😅🤪
