Over the years, I have learned many budget travel hacks in order travel on a budget.
As a broke college student, I took advantage of my spring breaks by traveling to Southern California from Washington state two years in a row. I spent under $400, flights and everything, on 7 days in SoCal both times. During another spring break, I traveled to Waco, Texas to visit my friend at Baylor University and also saved hundreds on my flights. For our honeymoon, my husband and I spent 9 days in Cancun, Mexico and spent under $1,500 total on flights, food, and room. (We traveled from Washington to Cancun and spent under $350 each on flights). This past June 2019, my husband and I traveled through France, Switzerland, and Italy for 2 weeks. We flew from the upper left USA to France for under $600 each during the busy tourist season.
I could go on. The point is, I have learned a thing or two about travel budget hacks that enable me to save money on travel. You do not have to be rich to experience an amazing vacation.
Instead of putting all my thoughts into a 20,000 word article, I’ve decided to do a sit-down kind of chat with you all to share my tips and tricks on how to save the most money possible on travel. You can watch my budget travel hacks down below in this YouTube video: (and I’ve linked all the budget travel hacks I share down below at the bottom of this post)
